It seems a couple people beat me on this one. I immediately remembered it is Canmore.
I think the reason I remember it so vividly is that every time I see a vintage movie showing it I shudder about the possibility of getting some clothing caught up in the wheels when riding up the slope. Probably a good thing it is no longer operating.
On that subject, Greg, why did the mothball the skimobile?
In late 1989s Eastern Slopes Ski Club revived the prestigious Gibson Cup races from the 30s & 40s. as a Madters race. Wife and I ran the Downhill which was run from top, well above terminus of Skimobile. Downhill skis & Skimobile we’re incompatible and after that wrestling match, schlepping 215-223 cm DH skis up to start made it memorable

mount cranmore north conway NH. Skied it many times back in the early 1960s
