It was Wayne Wong. It was a very exciting time to be a young skier and trying all of these “new” and exciting things. Some of us even did these crazy turns in the moguls. Bumps events were more like a freestyle. Jump where you want and turn wherever. Did you know, that there was a “Professional Freestyle Associates” (that is what the pro tour was called) in Stowe in either 1974 or 1975. The bump run was on the National!

I remember doing the Worm Turn and a few other moves he popularized.
