Mt. Snow, West Dover, VT. It was named for Rueben Snow, the farmer that Walt Schoenknect acquired Mt. Pisgah, where the ski area is located, from. The grease drippings ruined many a ski suit.

Mt. Snow is the only place I’ve ever skied with chain driven lifts. Riding them was quite special in the spring when grease dripped from the chains onto unsuspecting riders. Made me wonder what the designers were thinking.
