Hi there ! A voice from the past. Anne N sent me your article. As always it is interesting and well written.
I cheated and looked on the web – according the data the first ski tow rope was in Alaska at the Sheridan Ski Club which no longer exists.
Hope you are well and that everything is going your way.
If you want to really ski, John and I are a mere 20 miles from Lake Tahoe Ski resorts and we have a warm guest room.

Good to hear from you. Yes, if you’re only 20 miles from Tahoe, you’re in some great ski country! The last time I was there was 2006 skiing with the grand kids at Northstar at Tahoe – it was a blast. So don’t be surprised if we take you up on your offer!
