I believe the blankets were made by Johnson Woolen Mills

Actually, I was told they were ponchos and, yes, provided by the Johnson Woolen mill. 🙂

C’mon Greg, Way too easy–although it makes up for last week’s question when I had absolutely no idea! Johnson Woolen Mill made the blankets. They were like Mexican serapes with a hole in the middle so you could drape them over your head. The most I ever used at one time was 4–three draped over me, the 4th wrapped around my head.
