RetroSki is back for its fourth ski season! This is going to be an exciting year with more trivia and memories from skiing’s past. Also this year will include the release of Retro-Ski, the book! That’s right, I’m publishing a collection of some of my columns from the past three years. The book should be available in mid-December. Follow my blog for more details.

Hi Greg – I scored a 46 including one bonus point for the racing stripe pants. I began skiing in Stowe in 1953 and my parents gave me a season pass for my 21st birthday in 1955-56. The cost was $75.00. There was a booth at the entrance to the Mansfield base parking lot where a bearded gentleman named Claude collected 25 cents for parking. Hans Gmoser is the father of heli-skiing which he began in the early 60’s in British Columbia. Hope you had happy turkey. Regards, Barry
